WHAT IS ELIGIBLE FOR A RETURN

WOOFESSENTIAL will gladly accept returns of item(s) in new, re-sellable condition within 14 days from the delivery date (7 days for items on sale). This allows you to try and familiarize yourself with the product, as you would normally do in a store. If the product does not fit or meet your expectations, you can request a return within 14 days of receiving your item(s).

[IMPORTANT!] Before you make any purchase, please follow our SIZE GUIDE carefully to ensure you take proper measurements and choose the correct size. Don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any uncertainty.

An eligible return must meet ALL the following criteria: 

  • Return must be requested within 14 days (7 days for items on sale) from the date of initial delivery.
  • The return request must be accepted by us.
  • Item(s) must not be used, altered, washed, damaged, chewed, or abused and must be in original packaging. (Trying on for size is okay).
  • Item(s) must be clean and free of dirt, dog hair, dog urine, and any type of odor. We recommend carefully trying on your new products indoors and keeping the packaging intact.
  • Item(s) must be purchased from woofessential.com.
  • Item(s) marked as "final sale" are not eligible for returns, exchanges, or refunds.
  • Contact us if you need to return or exchange a bandana accessory (bow tie, bandana without the bow tie).

 

*All returns are subject to our inspection. Your item(s) must be in new, re-sellable condition. Item(s) that do not meet these criteria will not be eligible for return. The refunds will depend on the returned item(s) condition.

*You can always return the item(s) sent wrong, or with manufacturing defects. Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us at bark@woofessential.com immediately if the item(s) is defective, or damaged, or if you receive the wrong item(s), so that we may evaluate the issue and make it right.

 

HOW TO START A RETURN 

Click the profile icon in the store's navigation, or go to the return & exchange policy page, and then request a return.

1. Log in to your account:
  • 1. In the Email field, enter your email address, and then click Continue.
  • 2. In your email account, open the email sent from our store and copy the six-digit verification code included in the email.
  • 3. Go back to the online store, and then enter a six-digit verification code.

2. Click the order that you want to submit the return for.

3. If your order has more than one item, then select the items that you want to return.

4. Select a return reason and add a note for the store.

5. Click Request return. If your return request is approved and requires shipping, then you receive an email with shipping instructions and a return shipping label. After the product is returned, you receive a refund. Item(s) sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

 

RETURN SHIPPING INSTRUCTIONS

 

1) Print out the shipping label. 

2) Pack your return item(s). 

3) Attach the shipping label and give it to the carrier indicates on the label.

4) Track your return using your tracking number.

Additional information:

  • For returns, considering the specific nature of dog apparel, which often cannot be resold once used, we apply a one-time flat restocking fee per order: $5 for bandanas, $8 for raincoats, and $10 for jackets and suits. This fee contributes to covering shipping, handling, and restocking costs. Nonetheless, should you receive an item with manufacturing defects or an incorrect item, we will waive this fee. Your understanding and cooperation help us continue providing high-quality products for your furry friends.
  • When returning an item(s), it's your responsibility to ensure that it's packed properly and protected during shipping. If the item(s) is damaged while it's being returned, we are entitled to offer you a reduced refund.
  • Once the return is accepted and the return label is sent, you should send the item(s) back as soon as possible. If we don't see any indication that the item is on its way after 14 business days, we may close the return.
  • Please include your order confirmation in your package, and a brief explanation of your return, which is helpful for the process.

RETURN FOR REFUND

 

  • We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return to let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. Please allow up to 2 billing cycles for the credit to appear on your credit card statement.
  • You will get a full refund minus a flat return fee if the return is in a new and re-sellable condition. We may issue reduced refunds if the item(s) returned do not meet our return policy.
  • If you have not received the refund more than 15 business days after we approved your return, please contact us at bark@woofessential.com.

 

RETURN FOR EXCHANGE

 

Exchanges are handled in two separate transactions: 1) follow our return process to return the item(s) you have. 2) Once the return request is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. This is the fastest way to ensure you get what you want.

  • Exchange is FREE, we will not charge you a restocking fee for exchange.

 

POLICY FOR ITEMS ON SALE

 

Refund Amount: You will be refunded the discounted price of the returned item. For promotions such as "Buy x, Get xx% Off", you will be refunded the calculated discounted price. For example, if you wish to return only one of the two items purchased under the "buy 2, get 25% off" promotion. The discounted price is calculated by dividing the original price of the item by 1.333. if the original price of each item was $89, and you bought two items for a total of $133.5, the discounted price of each item would be $66.75. In this case, you would be refunded $66.75 upon returning one item.

Return Window: You may return eligible discounted items within 7 days from the date of delivery. Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and accompanied by a valid receipt.

Final Sale Items: Please note that items marked as "final sale" are not eligible for returns, exchanges, or refunds.
