DOG APPAREL
Step 1 - Take measurements
Make sure your dog is standing on all legs when being measured
#1-BACK LENGTH(most important): place the fabric tape at the base of the neck, where the neck connects to the back, and then extend the tape to the base of the tail, where the tail joins the body.
#2-CHEST GIRTH: place the tape at the top of the shoulder and wrap it around the dog's chest behind the armpits.
For a short-coated dog, wrap the fabric tape gently over the hair (skin);
For a medium and long-coated dog, wrap the tape through the hair with some space to the skin, so that the garment picked with this measurement won't be uncomfortably tight for your dog.
Step 2 - Find the right size
Compare your dog's measurements to the size charts, the size of the garment is determined by the larger size between the back length and chest girth. For example, if the back length is size 24 (S) and the chest girth is size 26 (M), choose size 26 (M) as your size.
It's highly recommended to choose one size down if:
- The sizes fall in between, or
- Your dog has short or medium hair, or
- Your dog has a slim body.
HUMAN APPAREL
Step 1 - Take measurements
#1-Chest: under the armpit, measure the circumference of the chest at the fullest point
#2-Waist: measure the circumference around the natural waistline, typically where your body bends side to side
#3-Hip: measure the circumference at the fullest point of the hip
Step 2 - Find the right size
Compare your measurements to the size charts. If your measurements correspond to different suggested sizes, choose the bigger size. For example, if the waist and hip suggest size S and the chest is M, choose M as your size.
If sizes fall in between, you can go with the smaller size for a snug fit or the larger size for a relaxed fit.

FAQs
Can I attach my dog's leash to the pack for hands-free walking?
Yes, you can use a carabiner (not included) to attach your dog’s leash securely to the strap for hands-free walking. Do NOT attach the leash to the Daisy chain loops, as these are not designed to withstand pulling force and may risk breaking, leading to a loose dog. Always ensure your setup is secure before walking hands-free.
Does the pack have a built-in dog poop bag dispenser?
No, the Walk’n Wag Hip Pack does not include a built-in poop bag dispenser. Many dispensers on the market have flawed designs that can tear the bags or make them difficult to access. Instead, we recommend attaching your preferred dispenser to the Daisy chains or webbing, or simply storing poop bags in the side zippered or mesh pockets for easy access.
What size water bottle can the pack hold?
The bottom mesh pocket is designed to securely hold a standard 16.9 oz (500ml) water bottle. For larger bottles, you can try storing them in the main compartment.
How do I clean the pack, especially the removable pouch?
The removable multi-use pouch is easy to clean with warm water and mild soap. For the main pack, spot cleaning with a damp cloth is recommended to maintain its durability and appearance.
How durable is the pack for daily use?
Constructed with high-quality, water-resistant materials, the Walk’n Wag Hip Pack is designed to withstand regular use and handle various weather conditions, making it suitable for daily adventures.
Can I use this pack for activities other than dog walking?
Absolutely! The Walk’n Wag Hip Pack is versatile enough for short hikes, dog training sessions, or even as a casual everyday carry bag.
